Experience: that most brutal of teachers. But you learn, my God do you learn.
I think we all wish we could erase some dark times in our lives. But all of life's experiences, bad and good, make you who you are. Erasing any of life's experiences would be a great mistake. Won't it?
indeed true; reminds me of a scene in which Bheesma says to Krishna,'if it would have been possible I would have removed this incident from my life.' to which Krishna replies,'If you would start removing all incidents of your life there would be no life left'
Getting over a painful experience is much like crossing monkey bars. You have to let go at some point in order to move forward. If you will call your troubles experiences, and remember that every experience develops some latent force within you, you will grow vigorous and happy, however adverse your circumstances may seem to be.
Your bolg always has this feel good kind of aura... nice words and cute pictures make it a pleasant viewing... and again ur this thought too is very true...
After a sabbatical of 3 months.. it feels good to be back in this blosphere.. awaiting ur insights into my new poem
@ Shanu : Smooth Roads never make good drivers. Problem free life never makes strong person. So never ask life 'Why Me?', instead challenge it and say Try Me...
@ Dipti Ranjan Panda : Exactly.
@ Gautam Ananad : Welcome back buddy and thank you very much for your nice words. Just arriving to your space.

i wouldn't mind swapping some of my experiences . There are less dramatic ways to learn life's lessons .
i wish for it too... but then i wish for people to open their minds
Well, I still hope there was a less dramatic way of learning life's lessons and I did not have to go through all that I've had to.
True. o__o

experience is like a double edged sword. just hope that you learn more and more lessons from one experience instead of learning them slowly one by one
